About Moapa Valley Fire Explorer program
The Moapa Valley Fire Explorer Program is designed for juniors and seniors who are interested in EMS, firefighter, or another related field. Explorers meet once a month and are involved in the community at community events.
Seniors have the opportunity to take the EMT-Basic with the district and are able to taking their NREMT Exam once they turn 18. At the time the explorer graduates high school, the explorer will have met the requirements to test for Firefighter 1.
